Heaven?

     The reality of heaven has been called in to question. By skeptics and Christians alike. We don’t believe in heaven because we hope it’s real, but because we know it’s real. Sure, it’s reassuring to hope we’ll see our loved ones again. We don’t make that hope up. Do a little research for yourself and don’t just go with the flow of the agnostic or the latest atheist. Let’s look where that reassurance comes from.

 More Than a Carpenter,  by Josh McDowell

       Josh proves the Bible is the most accurate of historical documents with more  surviving pages than any book in history, including the Iliad. Twenty thousand copies of New Testament manuscripts exist establishing authenticity and integrity, compared to 643 manuscripts in existence of the Iliad. The Bible talks about heaven and it is a trustworthy record.

Heaven

     Randy Alcorn has painted an incredible picture of heaven from his research. We will rule and reign with Jesus. Not just pass the time playing harps on clouds. We will have an exciting adventure for eternity.

Trust

     God’s way are not out ways. Trust the creator of you and the universe for His love and care are unsurpassed. The Holy Spirit will reveal your Savior to you, Jesus. Call out to Him, you will know in your heart that His promises are true and He will set you free. He promises deliverance now and forever. He is not a creator of chaos, but a creator of calm. And that is what you’ll have, for He heals the brokenhearted and brings freedom and peace. There are over 5000 promises just for you in scripture.

Warfare

     There is an effort from the enemy to delude people into believing they are self-sufficient and don’t need God. Go to the jungle and see the witch doctors and the mighty missionary. Angels and  demons are real and there is a battle going on. The power of God will prevail.

     Many are apathetic and say whatever happens happens. “When your dead your dead.” They get comfortable in their own comfort zone. Another attempt  of the enemy to delude many. You never know when your time will come, so always be prepared to meet your maker. Seriously.

The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel

     Lee Strobel, former atheist and journalist set out to disprove Christianity, and realized it was not possible. Read his research and see how he came to his conclusions. Have an open  mind, as you consider his proofs. Lee now crusades for his Christ. God’s love is beyond our comprehension and though we are unworthy, His Grace abounds!

Personal Power

     To know the presence and power of Jesus makes it come to life in individuals. There are murderers, thieves, addicts and those who have felt something missing in their lives that have taken the step towards God and experienced completeness and deliverance. I married the addict who was delivered overnight and our relationship was restored. We were married 10 years and people would ask how long have you been married? He would say 5 happy years! For it was then we dedicated ourselves to the Lord and our lives changed forever.

Making sense

     I know of those who say it doesn’t make sense to believe in Heaven. Really, it doesn’t make sense not to! It takes more faith to not believe in God or heaven for could a cosmic accident have created life like you and me? The human being is unbelievable and our intricacies point to creation by a Creator who has prepared a place for us for eternity, called Heaven. Thank God I have a peace and assurance that it is all real and not only will I continue to exist but I will exist forever with my loved ones and God Almighty!

     This is a reminder of the hope of resurrection we walk in. What have you got to lose? Besides separation from God forever. I hope this made you think and research. Awesome grandparents need to be able to lead and answer questions from the precious ones in our care. Pray to Jesus that you believe, He will forgive you of your sins, He is Lord, and by faith accept Him as your Savior. Then rest assured He will be with you now and in Heaven forever. What an exciting adventure!
