Faith Full God

Faith seems difficult to grasp, hard to believe we have it, or have enough. When really you walk in faith all the time. Faith that the air you breathe will keep you oxygenated, faith that the driver on the highway will not swerve in front of you. Hebrews 11:1 says faith is the substance of things hoped for. What does that mean? Consider it with your spiritual eyes for it is a profound reality. Some folks have scales over their eyes which hardens their beliefs as well as their vision, so they can’t see or imagine the things of the Spirit. I pray Father God will remove scales from their eyes so they can see Him, know Him and share the character of God, for our God is a Faithful (Faith full) God who is full of Mercy. With Him there is no confusion or haziness, only clarity of vision which produces clarity in our lives, and as 1 Corinthians 13 says Faith, Hope and Love.

If you hunger for faith it seems deeper than being hungry for hope. Hope is the rope that pulls you to the realm of faith. You hope for things; for health, success and prosperity. Faith sparks courage to obtain the unobtainable, it empowers you to see what you hope for.

I believe you can see faith. It’s real in a changed life after conversion to Christ. My husband was eight years old when he prayed to receive Christ and felt a bucket of warm water being poured over him. It was a life changing experience that showed the Faithfulness of God. Following are five steps for entering into God’s Faithfulness and letting it flow in your life.

Focus on faith, not fear or doubts. Faith gives power, fear depletes and makes you overwhelmed. When you become a believer you are full of faith in a Faithful God. Don’t think if only I had more faith, because faith will fasten onto promises from God and pull them into reality. If you’re weak faith imparts power to make you strong and courageous. (see Hebrews 11: 33-34)

Anticipate expectantly. Jesus said you will have what your faith expects. Your eyes will be opened and you will see. (See Matthew 9:29) How do you believe? Choose to not entertain doubt. Deciding to believe changes the pathways in your brain to positive and this makes faith arise in your soul. Even if it’s a little faith like a grain of mustard seed, (See Mark 11:22-24) it is still faith, sometimes all you have is a little but that can carry you to a marvelous place of supernatural faith where you can experience the mountain mover, for there is no mountain or situation God cannot move no matter what you are going through.

Identity is knowing who you are and whose you are. You can have a confidence, competence and completeness when you know the authority you have in your union with Christ. (2 Cor. 3:4-5) With this confidence in your identity you have a confidence in being a person of faith loved and cared for by a Faith full God. In the movie AIR, the Air Jordans they created were only successful when Michael Jordan put his feet in the shoe. Put your feet in the shoe of power, for as Jesus is so are you in this world. Find your fit and walk forward with faith into victory.

Thankful. “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him and bless his name.” (Psalm 100:4 KJV) As you praise God and draw near to him, He draws near to you. Faith will become second nature to you as you fill your thoughts with Him and as you meditate on His Word, then you will prosper, have good success, life, health and a fantastic faith journey.

Hearing is accomplished in many ways. Listen with your ears, your eyes or your heart. Listen to God’s leading and His Word and He will guide you and give you life and health. (See Proverbs 3: 5-8) Spend time with your Creator and immerse yourself in His presence and you will align yourself with God who is Faith Full. “…faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17 KJV) There is power in this Word. The universe was created by the words God spoke. (See Genesis 1:3) Jesus is the Word (See John 1:1), seek Him and listen to Him speak and you will enter the realm of Faith.

You will have faith in something; yourself, your job, your gang or your god. Make sure you have faith in the right thing, the God with the big G! I know of a missionary that was preaching in the jungle, a witch doctor was causing a distraction. After being warned to stop, he encountered the living God who distracted him and blinded him. He came forward for healing  and put his faith in the one true God. Have faith in your redeemer who sustains, guides and provides in all areas of your life giving peace, eternal life, light not darkness and faith not fear. Living a Faith filled life and leaning on a Faith full God is fantastic and fun.
