As Christmas approaches, you think of the birth of the Christ child. Some speculate Jesus was born in a cave, a hard place. Wherever it was there were animals, a manger and stink making it a hard place for the Creator to enter Earth as He humbled himself and chose to be born as a human. “He existed in the form of God…he emptied himself of his outward glory…He became human! He humbled himself …choosing to be revealed as a man…” (Philippians 2: 6-8 TPT). Jesus made the hard choice for us, He died so we wouldn’t have to.
Because He paved the path and faced hard, you never have to go through hard alone. Life is hard sometimes, but He promises to always be with you. “And never forget that I am with you every day, even to the completion of this age.” (Matthew 28: 20b TPT).
Because he chose the hard delivery you are delivered from hard. Life has triumphed over death. Forever, that’s now and all of eternity. (See John 3:16-17). You have help and hope in and through and out the other side of your hard. His resurrection is your resurrection. (See Colossians 3).
Because He chose the hard harvest, you will reap positive results breaking through the hard ground with kindness, love and caring manifested. He is the Hero who saves you from the negative crop of misery, anger, hate or unforgiveness.
Because He is your hard place where you find strength and protection, He is the rock who delivers from difficulties and death. “I will love thee, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength,… my high tower.” (Psalm 18: 1-2 KJV ). Run to the rock when it’s hard, because you trust him.
Because He loved you so much He was born that Holy Night, to become Emmanuel, God with us, you have a reason to be blessed and celebrate, not just at Christmas but every day!
God bless us everyone! Debbie
